Braised Abalone/焖鲍鱼
在韩国, 一直以来,鲍鱼都被视为珍品。但,随着商业化的大量培养,价格已比较大众化。。。
Abalone have long been a valuable food source for humans, traditionally it is considered a luxury item. However, the availability of commercially farmed abalone has allowed more common consumption in Korea.
Ingredients:
10 medium abalones
20 ginkgo
1/2 onion,coarsely chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1 Tsp soy bean sauce
3 Tsp Korean white wine ( 청주)
1 corn syrup
pepper powder
salt
cooking oil
Method:
1. Remove the abalones from the shell , cut away the intestines of the abalones. Wash and drain the shell & abalones.
2. Using the tip of the knife, score the surface of the body diagonally in a diamond pattern.
3. Heat the fry pan, add in little oil & pinch of salt for frying the ginkgo for 2-3 minutes.
4. Put the chopped onion, minced garlic, soy bean sauce, wine and corn syrup in a cooking pot, boil it.
5. Heat oil in another fry pan. Fry the abalones,sprinkle a pinch of pepper powder , fry it for about 2 minutes.
6. Put the fried abalones in the boiling sauce and simmer over medium heat.
7. Place the abalones on the shells again and garnish with ginkgo , red & yellow bell pepper

Mini Sausage Bread/ 迷你香肠面包
These are the mini Sausage Bread that I baked...
Ingredient (A):
bread flour 500g
milk powder 2 Tsp
yeast 2 tsp
salt 1 tsp
sugar 50g
Ingredient (B):
2 eggs
lukewarm water 200ml
Ingredient (C):
Butter 120g ( for me, I used grape oil 120g)
Filling:
Mini sausages
Egg wash ( for brushing the surface of the bread):
1 yolk , milk 1 Tsp
Method:
1. Mix (A) till well blended.
2. Add(B) and knead to form a dough.
3. Mix (C), continue to knead to form a smooth and elastic dough.
4. Cover dough with a damp cloth. Let it proves for 1 hr 30 minutes or till it doubles in size.
5. Punch out the air.
6. Divide the dough into 2 portions and let it rests for 15 min.
7. Flatten and roll out the dough into a big,thin rectangle or round dough respectively. Use the round cutter to cut out the dough, small round dough.
8. Put the sausage on the surface of the dough and pleat up the sides and seal. Brush with egg wash.
9. Rest for another 30 minutes.
10. Preheat the oven for 5 min.
11. Bake for 15-20 min or till golden brown colour, at 180 degree C.
12. Remove from the oven.
P/s: If you have the bread machine, then put all the ingredients in the machine at the same time. In case for my machine, it will take 1 hr & 23 min to process.Once you take out the dough from the machine, start from the process no (5)

Franchise Expo ( mainly for snacks) 2012
In Korea, food delivery service is very good, I doubt whether I can crown it as the best in the world. When you are at home, you just need to dial the phone number and order the food ( even one bowl of noodle or one set of burger), it will be delivered to you within 20 or 30 minutes, without extra service charges. Among them, the delivery service from the Chinese restaurant is the best, you can order it at anywhere,e.g at the garden,park or even seaside,etc.
I went to the Franchise Expo 2012 on the 27th of Apr, here are some of the pictures that I took...
